The new Lord Mayor Awards celebrate the amazing people, organisations and groups who make a big difference to Sheffield's communities.
Our city is home to people and groups who go above and beyond, to help those around them to improve our planet and to make Sheffield a prosperous place to live. These include individuals who are leaders in their community, innovative businesses, cultural trailblazers and unsung heroes.
To celebrate the people who help to make our city a better place we are launching the new Lord Mayor Awards.
There are a number of award categories and anyone can nominate their local hero or heroes. Businesses and other organisations can support the event through sponsorship too.
These awards will celebrate the best of Sheffield and the extraordinary people who make an outstanding contribution to the city. By recognising their achievements, we can inspire others and build a stronger sense of community.
